I took the advice of the Headmistress over at The Common Room and started brushing the crumbs from Satchmo’s high chair onto our front walk. It took them a day to find the bounty.
I even had a male cardinal inches from my face, in my kitchen window!

We too are watching birds from our window. It is so interesting! We made our own bird food as part of a school project, but there certainly are plenty of crumbs here to go around also!
